I decided to see what my law school pal Wilfred was up to and was shocked and stunned to find out about his death. I totally missed this news story, and, had I realized last year he was ill, would have bent over backwards to see him. But now realize I should have stayed in touch all along with this very fine person. Friends, time goes too swiftly. All my best to his family and my thoughts are with them.

My admiration for his accomplishments, courage and determination. Thanks for your compassion and attention to those in need whenever the system failed. Our talks will be fondly remembered.

My deepest condolences...I worked with Judge Aguilar in the courts for several years in the early '90's as a clerk. I enjoyed his sense of humor and always liked working in his courtroom. He will be missed by many.
