This writer should be last on the list. I did not know Porky well; if we met, it was only briefly, at a family gathering years ago in Cherry Valley. His grandmother Anne Marie, the wife of Clovis Bellerose, and my father, Dr. Joseph E. Lemire, were brother and sister. I can relate something my mother said about Porky, perhaps in 1948 or 1949.
