Not sure what to say?

Bill was a great teacher in Bio at Longmeadow High when I was a sophomore 1977-78 and a lot of fun too. He had a lot of fun nicknames as well for us. I remember we had a Jeannie Riley in our class he would call "Harper Valley" after the Harper Valley PTA song sung by country artist Jeannie C.Reilly etc. And they way we were all "gentlemen and scholars, but not necessarily in that order!" One of the best!

Mr. Blanchard was my most favorite teacher at Longmeadow High School ('95-'99). He encouraged me, pushed me, and by the end of my first course with him, I loved science. As a teacher now myself, I think of him often. I feel lucky to have been one of his students and will continue to think fondly of him.

When you can remember a teacher from 44 years ago, as a freshman in high school, you know he was a QUALITY TEACHER, AND PERSON!!! RIP. Mr. B.

Mr. Blanchard was one of my very favorite teachers at Longmeadow High. Even when we covered difficult topics he was patient and caring. I remember laughing with him and talking with him after class many times. He was simply a wonderful human being loved by all of us that were lucky enough to learn from him.

Remembering Mr. Blanchard at Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, MA.
I graduated in 1967.

He was excellent in the classroom.
Thank you for your service the Wilbraham.

I had Mr. Blanchard for Freshman biology in the 75-76 school year. I still remember his "we'll have quizzicles on Tuesdays and Testicles on Fridays" joke for letting us know when we would have to study. I have actually told that story to my kids several times. I remember him fondly. Sincere condolences to his friends and family.

He was a very nice man. He was a good teacher. He taught me to have more confidence in my self
So sorry for his loss my thoughts and prayers are with his family

Truly one of Longmeadow's finest!
Condolences to his family and friends.
