Not sure what to say?

Whitey was one of a kind. He was blessed to have such a long and fruitful life. My mother loved Whitey and Faye. Some of her happiest memories were with her bus driver friends and sitting with them at the round table at the Depot. May your wonderful memories of him ease the pain of your loss.

Whitey was an awesome man and member of the Leslie community. I thank God that I got to spend time with him when I lived there. What a great influence he was over all the younger people.

I remember Whitey working at the bus garage when I was just a little boy - and seeing him at the coffee klatch with his "crew" in the mornings, solving all the town's problems. A true fixture of the community!

Such good memories of the Wardowskis! Condolences to all of the family.

I think I knew the name Whitey Wardowski from my father, Charles Vacek, looong before I ever met him, probably looong before I was even old enough to walk!
I remember he & my father bowled together for many, many years, right across the street from where I grew up in Leslie. I believe they served on the city council together as well. Both enjoyed participating in Leslie's political scene, making a great effort to improve the city.
He will be greatly missed by the town.

Our sympathies for the loss of a fine man. Betty & Doug Marcoux
