Dear Mrs. Rodgers and Family,
I just received the e-mail from Pat and am truly sorry obout your loss.

I wish I had kept notes on all the wonderful stories he told to me over the years. He was a remarkable man and a real gentleman.

Being from Maine I relished his stories of Camden and of course I understood the underlying

Mr. Rodgers,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Rodger's Family, So many of my fondest childhood memories were spent at your home. Your Dad was the consumate gentleman and I will always remember him for his kind and gracious ways. The best legacy any man can leave is a caring family. You all gave him a great legacy by the way you helped him through his long extended illness.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Rodgers. Over a period of a couple of weeks we came to know him as a man of character and graciousness while we conversed with him about his family and his life as a newsman. Sometimes in life we meet people who leave us with a clearer understanding of the value of life, love, and family. Mr. Rodgers was one of those people.

We are so very sorry at the news of Bud's passing. We will always remember him as a gentleman in every sense of the term. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Agnes and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. Please know that Bud and you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
