Not sure what to say?

I went to grade school with his daughter, Marian. I remember going on a field trip with our class to visit Professor Bottje. His electronic music studio was something and little did I know at the time I was seeing the first Moog Synthesizer in this country. He was a very kind man with infinite patience.

Joyce, I was so sad to learn of Will's death. My sympathies to you on the loss of such a fine partner and friend. The World is a better place because of his, and your, gifts. Love to you.

St. Cecilia Music Center sends it's deepest condolences to Joyce and Will's entire family. We are grateful for the gift of music he gave to our community, his students and beyond. St. Cecilia Music Center offers a music scholarship in his sister's name that helps sends a student to music camp every year.

We extend our condolences to Joyce and the family. Will will be remembered with respect and admiration.

He was my (David's) first flute teacher and instilled a life long love of the instrument and playing it. I can never play without hearing his instructions and gentle encouragement.

We pray for your comfort as you mourn, and for peace as you remember.

Sincerely,

David and Janet Van Dyke
