Not sure what to say?

I send my heart full of condolences to you all. I stumbled across this news today. Dr. Getz was one of my Professors at NCA&T. I worked for him in the Genetics Lab and Farm. My family lived around the corner at McKnight Mill Rd. He is the teacher who most influenced my path along with so many others. I was admitted to NCSU Vet School largely due to the opportunity and experiences there. I cannot begin to imagine how many lives he touched and influenced all around the world. My prayers are...

I enjoyed working with Dr. Getz and my condolences to his family.

Dr. Getz - A true gentleman and scholar. My condolences to his family.

This man's warmth and intelligence had touched the lives of so many he came in contact with. Few people we meet in life leave lasting impressions like he did. I was enamored with his character and will never forget our talks about New England and family.

Leslie Leveille - Cape Cod, MA

He graciously accepted three invitations to lecture to our sheep breeders association at my farm where he was a resource to new start farmers. He was passionate about helping others thru science and research. I will miss him, and hope that his family is comforted...
