Not sure what to say?

He was a great man. He will be missed.

I first met Sonny 57 years ago at the Mission Field in SLO when he and his friend, Johnny Green, used to hit balls out of the park with regularity. It was great to reunite with Sonny during these last 8 to 10 years through golf at Rancho Maria, and our Blues/Indians reunions. Sonny was “one of a kind” and very special! He will be missed; however, he will always be remembered for his many friendships and competitive spirit!

Sonny you will be missed....
Robert & Monica Cowger and family

I have known Sonny the legend and Sonny the coach and friend since my youth in SM. I shared many sports (especially competitive bowling) experiences with Sonny and always enjoyed his sense of humor and deadly competitiveness. We successfully partnered on some teams and tournaments in the 70s and 80s.

I have impressive memories of Sonny in many aspects.

I will sorely miss him. I give the best to Thelma and the entire extended family.

I am Ray Anderson's youngest daughter, and I will always hold the memories of Sunny dear to my heart. He was a great man, and wonderful friend to my dad. Please know that the thoughts and prayers of the old "Indian" players and their families are with you.
