Not sure what to say?

As little children (I knew my cousin as "Tom") we were playmates at Grandma Race's farm. After over 80 years my mind's eye still sees us playing Hide and Seek in the cornfield with Marlin and Janice. Such great memories!

My sympathy goes out to Mr.Allen's family.HE was an awesome biology teacher to me.He had me as his teacher's assistant in 1984 at Lincoln. He helped me in many ways to teach me about science. For this I am grateful for his patience and knowledge. He will be truly missed. Thanks for my education in biology.Sincerely,Susan Dunn Harris

My prayers are with the Allen family. COL Allen was my commander with the 432d Civil Affairs Co such a gentleman and respected man. I am so sorry.

Our thoughts are with you. Tom was the most wonderful "extra dad" the year I spent with you as an AFS student, and all the time after that. I´m also glad my children and Claes got to know him. Thanks for all the memories.

I am so sad to learn of the death of my dear cousin. We were the same age and I have precious memories of Tom and the good times we had as children playing when visiting Grandma Race's farm. He has always had a special place in my heart.

Tom was my dad's (Marlin Race) favorite cousin. I knew him as a kind and caring man. He touched many lives, and all were better for it.

Mr. Allen was one of my favorite teachers at Lincoln. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

Dear Allen Family,
I pray that God comforts you in this time of loss. Jim Jung Loveland, CO

Val and family--Bill and I and our children send our sympathy to you on the loss of Will. He was a kind and gentle man. I remember his contributions to the Manitowoc Public Schools, of course, and also the involvement of both of you in AFS during the years I was also active. I know that your memories of Will will sustain you the rest of your lives.
