Willard as Boxcar Willie

From my perspective as a nephew, it seemed that Uncle Willard excelled at every aspect of life, including his profession, family life, and community service. It also seemed apparent that music and humor were common threads that ran through every aspect of his life. I think this is really exemplified by the pantomine portrayals he did of various musical personalities, including Boxcar Willie (attached photo), Freddy Fender, and even Dolly Parton, I think there were many others in his...

Sympathy from Randy and Darlene Smith. How well we know the pain of losing someone who was very dear to us. God grace is amazing and brings us through each memory especially when those memories leak from our eyes. He will always be a part of your lives. Hugs !

Remembering Bill for his service to the Wyoming Senior Center. I can still picture his friendly wave as I'd pass his morning coffee group at the Center. Condolences to his family and friends.

May you all have the strenght from God who comfort those in time of sorrow, Phillipians 4:6,7,13. ~ Chicago.

We wish to express our sympathy to all of Bill and Marion's family. We feel blessed that they were part of our lives. Fun loving, good people

I have been blessed to know Bill and his lovely wife. Both were great examples of love and generousity. My Mother, Barbara and I shared lots of stories with Bill while walking in the mall. He and Marion are united and walking with the angels. God bless the family and may God renew your strength through faith. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Please receive my deepest condolences and know that you can throw all your anxiety on God because he cares, 1 Peter 5:6,7. Very sincerely Irma. ~ Chicago.

Bill could be the poster child of "the greatest generation": hard-working, humble about his accomplishments, frugal and resourceful and devoted to his family. Bill was a life-long Spartan fan. I feel blessed that Bill was a part of my life and always grateful that he was such a wonderful Grampa to Brandon and Bradley!
