Not sure what to say?

John, Nancy and Doug:

Your Dad welcomed me into your family with open arms and I am glad to have spent many good times with him and you.

Bill could most certainly spin a yarn, had the most amazing laugh, and talked about most any topic--with understanding and passion.

He shared with me countless times how proud he was of each of you and how honored he was to be your Dad.

My most precious memories are of Christmas and how he so enjoyed being with family and...

45 years of an often chaotic but never dull friendship.

My heartfelt condolences. Bill was a good friend of mine, and will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. I will be there to celebrate his life with his family and many friends.

Bill will be remembered by many musicians here in Grand Rapids. His exuberant enthusiasm about our concerts and life in general set a standard. I will always remember his zest for life.
Thank you Bill.
I hope to be there May 3rd before my concert.

I enjoyed many good times at the Yacht Club bar and at Bill's home in Grandville, particularly his "special" brownies. He was a good friend and patient. We'll be there May 3.

Although we seldom saw Bill, I always remembered his laugh when I saw him. We will see you at the CopperTop.
(Connie's daughter)

Bill will be missed. We plan on attending The Guest House

Beautiful picture of Bill - it matches exactly our mental pictures of him and his wonderful laugh. We'll miss him.

Although Elgin has a gig in Battle Creek at 6:45, we'll try to stop by The Guest House on May 3 before he has to head out.

I have not seen Bill in along time. But the picture brings back many fun memories and times. I will try to make it to the celebration of Bill's life.
