I learned how to crab and gill net for stripers working with captain Billy and Stevie Elliott on the Potomac and Rappahannock rivers and Captain Billy was a really good man. I was working on the river with them from about 14 or 15 until I was 18 and it was a blast. I can still remember Capt Billy would jump into the boat and yell "yabba dabba doo" like he was Fred Flintstone....love ya Capt Billy and Mrs Evelyn. Rest in peace my good friend and step grandpa. What a blast it was to be around...
