Mr. Willard D. McDaniel

SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Willard D. McDaniel, 70, will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Barry McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Blue Spring Cemetery. Mr. McDaniel died at his residence on Feb. 20, 2010. He served in the U.S. Army and was a native of Shelby Co. He was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny H. McDaniel, Richard A. McDaniel, and Clyde J. McDaniel; and sisters, Ann Littleton and Ruby O. Peacock. Survivors are a daughter, Candy McDaniel of Tennessee; brothers, Bobby J. McDaniel of Sylacauga and Dempsy L. McDaniel of Vincent; sisters, Glenda S. McClellan, Helen Mizzell both of Sylacauga, and Mavis Hottensen of Harpersville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.curtisandsonfh.com. Pallbearers will be B.J.
