Penn worked his first high school game with me in SCISD in Charleston in I think 1972. He was a fine man and I knew then he would potentially be a very good official. Even at a young age, he was a man of great principles and I always enjoyed being with him on our trips to games. May you REST IN PEACE old friend and God bless his family.

Family I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Penn from officiating football and considered him my friend for over 30 years. I really appreciated our time together on the football field or the golf course and just hanging out with the guys. Rest easy now Penn!
