Sonny was co-worker and good pal of my recently departed dad, Keith. He taught me to water ski on the Columbia river. He said it was the sign of a good skier if you could get out and back without having your cigar go out while you were doing it. I didn't smoke but he taught me well and I never fell in once in all the times he towed me. He also helped me catch my first limit of trout while fishing with him at Clear Lake on Mt Hood.
