Just learned from Linda Neff Fields that Bill had passed. I'm so sorry to learn of this and wish I had known at the time.

I think of you, Linda and Mal frequently and remember our times growing up and throwing the football with Bill when we lived in the same apartment complex during our FTU days.

I was thinking back last night of all the teachers who impacted and motivated me to pursue education. I decided to google a few of them and see where they were at.My thoughts turned to Mr. Wicks and his ability to turn a subject, which I admittedly lacked interest in , into an exciting one. I'm sad to see he passed so early. He treated me as an adult at a young age, and through his expectations and natural ability got the best out of me. I'll never forget his charm, personality, and booming...

Mr.Wicks was an amazing Coach and mentor for my son. In the 4 years that he played for Lyman, there was not one time that Coach Wicks did not have inspiring words for him. What a loss for the kids that will not have him in their corner. I am so sorry for your loss and prayers from my family to yours in this hard time.
