Willard and I were classmates in the Gilman Class of 1968. He had a warm and engaging personality and was a popular and stalwart member of the Class. I feel very fortunate to have known him and been his friend. Willard was always the consummate gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.
