Not sure what to say?

Willard was one of my mentors that I admired for his honesty, humor, and always a kind smile.
I will treasure forever the times speaking with him, and the wealth of knowledge that he passed on to so many people including me.
He will be missed dearly by me and everyone that has had the honor of knowing him.

I first met Willard as a graduate student at MSU and then worked with him in his role at Ford. He had a remarkable ability to combine front-line knowledge with deep thinking on systems change. He also had a light touch -- using humor and good will to defuse complicated situations. I am sorry to learn of his passing, but glad to learn of the great joy he had with family and his continued work. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Willard was a very big part of my early rocovery he was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Prayers to his family ♡

It was a privilege to attend Bill's funeral and join the celebration of his life. I knew he was involved in the recovery program but I did realize how many lives he touched. I have always enjoyed Bill's company, but now I know it was a honor to have known him. Sending love and prayers to the family.

A colleague for three years on our high school debate team, Bill was a bright and funny student. More importantly, he was a beautiful person who loved learning and was always sensitive to the feelings of others. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Mary Jane, Michelle, Dan, Daniel, and Michael and the rest of the Young family, you have my deepest condolences on your loss. I was totally shocked and saddened when I learned of Uncle Bill's passing. Even though he may not be with us physically any longer his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and will always be remembered.

To the Young family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was a good friend to us many years ago. May the Peace of God be with all of you.

May Christ's Light shine upon You & your Family!
