Willard E. "Bill" Young, 84, of Bay City, Michigan, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Local No. 324 Operating and Engineers for 64 years, passed away at Brian's House on the morning of Monday, March 25, 2002, following a lingering illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, April 1, 2002, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., 201 West Midland Street, Bay City. Further visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, noon to 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, 1 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Boyer. Inurnment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Hospice of Bay Area; Brian's House, c/o Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., 201 West Midland Street, Bay City, MI 48706; or a charity of the donor's choosing.
