I awoke many years ago to NPR on my clock radio the morning after a hurricane had hit Topsail. Bill was being interviewed as he chose to remain the night on the island when most people had evacuated. I fondly remember him saying in a most humble fashion, "I won't ever do that again." So long Bill.
