Not sure what to say?

Dear Connie and Trish,
I only learned of Bill's death yesterday, and I was shocked. I was so glad I'd gotten to see and talk to you both at the beautiful party at the Cochran's. Bill's parents and mine were friends, and we had known each other since early childhood. Please know that I am thinking of you and your loss. Bill was a "bright light" in Richmond. I'll miss him!

Dear Connie,
As another W&L friend we have kept up with you & Bill through the Erdreich's. We were with them last Thursday when they were giving us an update. On Friday we were so sorry to hear of Bill's untimely death. Please know our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. Sincerely, Barbara & Sandy

Rest in peace Bill. God bless you and your family. Bob Bortner (classmate Westhampton Jr. High, Thomas jefferson H.S. ) Louisville, Ky.

Connie, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ron and Bill were good friends for many years. It was a real shock to hear about his death tonight.

Connie:
On behalf of Kamp Kewaneean's everywhere, I want to offer our deepest condolences. I know Bill would have wanted to be with us when we all gather this weekend to celebrate our KK heritage. I am certain that all of us Kampers who knew Bill will be sharing our wonderful memories of him. Sincerely, Dick Guggenheim, KK, '52-'54.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thought are with you at this time of sorrow

Dear Connie and Family:
I send this message from Knysna South Arica, where I heard Saturday from my father of Bill's death. Words will never explain the love and respect I have for Bill and for the special friendship we shared not only with the vision of Richmonds Riverfront, but a special bond through Jimmy.
Richmond will always be "a better place to live and experience what the James River has to offer" because of Bill's determination and sacrifice. I send my heartfelt prayers to...

As daughter of the former resident of Pocahontas Ranch (John Francisco), I'm certain Bill found much beauty and peace is his rural surroundings. My thoughts and prayers are with the Abeloff Family at this time.

Dear Connie- I am very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. While I was just getting to know him through the Rocketts Landing project I found him to be gracious and focused on what he loved doing, seeing Rocketts Landing become a reality. He will be sorely missed.
