Dear Mrs. Abplanalp and family: Mr. Abplanalp was my math teacher back in 1960 and was a great teacher. Math was my strong subject and I thank him for his wonderful analytical mind. My father died in 1993 of multiple myeloma and lived 8 years after his diagnosis. I know how hard it was for my family to endure those years of suffering and pain so my heart goes out to you. I know of at least 4 cases of this terrible disease in Ridgway and it makes you wonder, especially knowing that is so...

Bill was my Algebra teacher back in 1960 here in Ridgway. He had the patience of Job trying to teach me. He and my late husband were great friends. You have my deepest sympathy on your loss.
