Sorry to read of Billy's passing in the newspaper. I would see and talk to Billy when I went to the races in Calistoga many years ago. We were not a close family but he was my cousin so I want to send my condolences to all.

My heart goes out to Billy's family. I only got to spend 13 months with Billy in Frankfurt Germany, but they were 24/7 months as we were room mates. He was the closest friend I made while in the service. We went on leave together, travelling through France and Spain, and experienced a few crazy situations. I remember when the two of us were ordered to clean up the company jeep. It was in pretty bad condition, and Billy suggested using gasoline to get through the bad stuff. We were both...
