I will miss Grandpa Bill! I have great memories of holidays together - remember when you dropped the turkey on Thanksgiving! Christmas was always extra special when we spent it with you and Grandma. Remember the camping trip that turned into a Cedar Pointe trip because the VW camper broke down! And when Trevor, your greatgrand son, at four years old asked what continent you lived on - and you went right out and bought him a beautiful interactive globe, that we still have and use! ...

George asked me to let all of Bill's family know that our thoughts are with you. In particular, we want to send our love and sympathy to Valerie. Bill and George were so close
and he is grieving the lost of his dear colleague and friend.

I did not know Dr. Alston was in Syracuse! I studied his works in both seminary and in my own reading and greatly admired him. May God bless Dr. Alsont for his wonderful mind and faithful work. May God bless you of his family in your time off loss. He was a remarkable mind and greatly influenced me in my work in the pastoral ministry. Please know how valued he was by some of us working on the front lines of ministry in the local church. What a blessing he was.
