Not sure what to say?

Dear Willie:
You and I go back many years! We met right after World War Two as your Mom and Step Dad lived next to us in Homestead on 9th Court.
We shared many experiences growing up and I was proud to be yours and Helen's Best Man in 1956!
Over the years you, Helen and Gloria and I spent quality time together and visited numerous places out west and in Florida.
And yes, Debbie, your Dad was a Dragon Slayer! When he was a Senior in high school at Homestead High, Coach Worley asked...

Bill, I know you are in a better place. I will always remember the "sociable" drinks we all had together. You are Debbie's hero and always will be. See you later....

My favorite memory of Bill Altman was while I was spending the weekend with the family and we were watching NASCAR. That particular race just happened to be the race that never ended. I kid you not. The race ended well after 11pm. Everything that could go wrong in NASCAR went wrong with NASCAR. It was crazy. Me, knowing nothing racing, I was compelled to ask 101 questions. Bill was gracious with his answers and had the patience of a saint. The last question I asked him that evening about the...

My father was my mentor my rock and my hero. My father could do anything. My father could slay drangons.
Two of my favorite memories of my father are him running up on stage to give me roses after high school performances. and the other one is when dad drilled a hole through a softball put a rope through it and attached it to a cane pole. He would come home from work and swing that pole around for hours so I could learn how to hit the ball. I did.
My father worked tirelessly to...

Mrs. Altman, Debbie, and David,

Words can not begin to ease the pain of losing Mr. Altman, but please know that you are in the hearts and prayers of so many who care.
I remember him being an honorable man and always having a smile on his face. He is loved by many.
We are all praying that the Lord will comfort you with his peace, surround you all with his love and encourage you with his presence.

Love in Christ,
Cathy and family xo

Just to let you know that you are in our prayers daily. It was an honor to be at the service of such a close friend and hear David's eulogy. We are blessed to have your entire family as friends and will be here to support you in any way we can. We love you. Lou and Ed Hickman

Helen, David, & Debbie, We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Our prayers are that God hold you in his care to give you strength and healing. We always think of you and Bill with the best memories of comraderie and good times.

Bill,

It’s only been a few days since you left us. We love you and miss you. The Blitz Table will never be the same without you. It will always be Bill and Helen, Buck and Barbara, Ed and Lou, Ed and Penny and Rannie and Barbara for all of time. We know you will always be with us in spirit. It will always be easy to imagine your ever smiling face and good humor.

You’ll be an asset to heaven, and will remain in our hearts forever.

Yours and Helen’s friends,...

Bill,
Your passing was a great distress to all of us. It saddens me so much to know that you are no longer here with us in physical form, but I know that you are still with all of us spiritually, and I am confident that your spirit will continue to live through your family. We will miss you so much, but you will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for being such a wonderful person and please continue to watch over your family.
