We miss Bill with especially good memories regarding his wry sense of humor. He could evoke a hearty laugh at times when that was needed most! We also think that memory of him as a teacher must be especially strong in the minds of young people who are now in their mid-twenties at a time in our nation's history when an upright and morally strong leadership figure, like Bill, is most sorely in demand. Bill was one of those quiet giants who worked all kinds of miracles, especially with children. That ought to get him a front-row seat in heaven. We will miss him.
