Not sure what to say?

Last week, I just changed laptops at work and was going through old photos that I have saved - and looking at photos of Dr. A and Rubeus and Hermione and pictures he shared of Smokey and Spartacus. I still miss him and think of him almost every week - and smile. He is still here in my heart. Love to you William, to your family, and to all you touched in your time here with us on earth.

Such a gentleman and with always a positive outlook - I will miss him!

Uncle Bill, and as we called "Wild Bill", and I spent many summers together in West Center Harbor, New Hampshire. In would arrive with H.T. and Billy and we enjoyed playing touch football on the front lawn. Spending time swimming at Lake Wakewan and enjoying his "tarzan demonstration, and fun at the beach. Boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and going out for ice cream in the Green Cadillac Deville Convertible. We loved Uncle Bill and the boys. We will always remember his Teddy Kennedy imitation....

Doctor A was an all-around wonderful person – he gave his time to speak to community groups, he supported his church, he adored his family, he delighted and was delighted by his students, he was crazy about his dogs, he reveled in going to the gym with colleagues and bantering about sports, cars, clothes or anything really – in short, he was a person with an infectious appreciation for everything in life. You couldn't be in the room with him and stay in a bad mood.

My life has been...

Bill brought so much hope to our campus. His glass was not only half full- it was a well spring. As a colleague, Bill was always encouraging. He took optimism to the extreme. It was tough going into work on a Monday if the Patriots won over the weekend. Even when they lost- he had a positive spin on the game. They lost, but they won. Deep down he was a spiritual man with a Huck Finn-like sparkle in his eyes. I always enjoyed listening to his stories about growing up in Boston. People say...

They don't make them like William anymore. His cheerful nature has always brought joy to the
lives of everyone he touched. We know you miss him terribly, and we miss him just as much. I
will always think back on how welcome he made me feel when I first met him in the office. We
will continue to honor his memory and have you in all our prayers. Please remember us if you
need anything. You are not alone. We are with you. The best way to honor someone who is not
with us...

Deepest condolences to you for your loss. Losing a love one to death when God is the creator and source of life. Acts 17:24,25. The Owens

Your husband translated Greek words on something I found in my Dad's safe after he passed last Spring. I will always remember him for doing this for me and my son, Geoff. Sending my sincere sympathy to you and your family. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
