I worked for Bill at his business Service Hardware in the 1970s. He was a great man and a fabulous boss. I learned so much from him about life in general and business. I loved to have coffee with him and great conversation. I know he had a heart of gold, but always managed to keep his tough guy persona. I was a youngster in Flint MI in early '60's when Bill drove from Chicago to deliver a tiny beagle puppy to me & my 2 sisters. He was a kind & generous man; my mother mentioned him and other extended family members frequently. My condolences to remaining family members.
