Regretfully, our families did not share a lifetime as I expected when I was 15. I remember when Rayla and Bill were married in Manhattan and when we last saw each other at Skyline Towers when Dana Alice was born. How did so many years get away from us? Needless to say, Iwas very sad to just learn of Bill’s passing. (Feb. 5,2021)

Thanks for the wonderful visit in 2016--over 40 years after I was at TC
Bill was the best! I am so grateful that he was my advisor during my masters degree. He was a quiet leader who gently guided me to be better than I thought I could be. I treasured the time we spent working together on his observation instrument for the Teachers College Video Tape Data Bank. Such an amazing forward thinker he was. He also kept everything in perspective and taught me that your profession was important, but that family came first.
