He was the best doctor I ever had.

I only now learned of Bill´s passing. Such a dear, kind, and interesting man. My husband and I were neighbors of Bill and Dotty and we shared many common interests - love of travel, learning, arts, gardening and more. He left a beautiful legacy for all who were touched by being in any of his many orbits.

Bill was my oldest client, but ive learned so much from him.

He was my doctor and my friend. He was so caring about the patient. We would mostly discuss politics. When our hospital closed he gave a few people pictures he had painted. Mine is hanging on the wall in my living room. God bless him. May he Rest In Peace.

Sorry to hear about Bill. I worked with him in the Harrisburg specialty hospitals. I always looked forward to the times we were able to discuss a difficult case or an interesting news article. He had an amazing range of interests and was passionate about life.

Such a loss to so many! As a respiratory therapist I had the opportunity to share just a tiny piece of this legend's life. My best memory was of a patient out on 8main on a ventilator who was end of life. Knowing this he still worked effortlessly to find the most comfortable ventilator settings in hopes of giving the patient one more chance at survival. I had the privilege of working with your father for many years in my job as a respiratory therapist. He was an extremely kind man who always made me feel appreciated. Your father was an excellent physician and was incredibly caring to the patients. He was considerate and never short tempered, even when called into work late on an evening or weekend.
