William H. "Bill" Appleton

I met Bill way back in 1987 in Athens, Greece. Right away, we both knew we were travel wanderers. He always sent me postcards from where ever he was. I in turn-loved sending him postcards and telling him my adventures.. Like him I loved Turkiye, Italy, France and many other places. He always sent a Christmas card and when I did not hear from him, I knew something was not right. My sincere condolences to his large family and I am sure he is still travelling where ever he is in the sky.
