William Hefner Appling

My prayers to you, Mrs. Appling and all of your family. I had the utmost respect for Mr. Appling and will truly miss him. He was not only a friend, but a special boss to me. I will never forget him...

I thought I knew a lot about fishing and hunting until Hefner started sharing his knowlege with me twenty years ago and he taught me a lot about my favorite sports. I have memories of some antics of Hefner and Charlie Martin that will entertain me for the rest of my life. I'll think of Hefner often and I'll smile.

My deepest sympathies to Mr. Appling's wife and family. I will certainly miss this strong kind man.

We are sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, dad and grandfather. I know he will be deeply missed because there is such a special bond between parents and their children. But his memories will live forever which will help you through this tough time. I know it will get easier for we send our prayers and thoughts with you always.
