Not sure what to say?

My condolences and prayers to the family. He was Vice Principal when I went to Fulmore.

Bill was the best principal I ever had. He fully supported my Theater Arts program at both Fulmore and Covington. He was intelligent, fun-loving, people-smart, fair, and diplomatic. He supported his teachers. Few could measure up to him. Bill, enjoy your recess without havng to patrol the hallways.

Condolences to you for Mr Armentrouts passing.I only attended Fulmore half a year. My parents had just moved to Austin in 1967.

Mr. Armentrout asked me an unusual question when he interviewed me for the Spanish teaching position at Covington: " What time to you get up to get ready for your drive to Seguin?" That´s where I was teaching at the time, though I lived in Austin "4 AM", I replied, and added, that I had never been late. He hired me. I found out later that he himself was an early riser who valued punctuality. Five years after that, when he retired from Covington Middle School, I stepped out of the retirement...

Ann, I am very sorry for your great loss. I went to school with Bobby...2nd-12th grades...and I worked with you at Oak Hill Elementary. Sandy Burnside told me awhile back that you and Bill live in Fredericksburg. My parents moved there 30 years ago when they retired from AISD, also...so we spend a lot of time there. I know Bill was a wonderful man...sounds like he lived a very full life and is now in Heaven for eternity. I will be thinking of you and your sweet family in the days to come....

Mr. Armentrout was my principal at Fulmore. He was a kind and principled man. I have fond memories of him.

Mr. Armentrout was my Principal at Fulmore Jr. High (Class of '71). I was never sent to the principal's office so never met him personally LOL. But I remember his name and that he was well-respected and known to be a fair and kind man by those who DID see him, even the ones that saw him often. Sympathy and condolences to his family on the loss of a good man and beloved family member.

Mr. Armentrout was a dear, sweet, gentleman in every sense of the word. He and Ann were among the first people at Zion Lutheran to welcome me with open arms at the church. He always shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and gave me a big smile. I always looked forward to hearing about his and Ann´s latest travel adventure. I miss him dearly every Sunday at church. God Speed, Mr. A.

He was my shop teacher in 1960 at Fulmore. Great Guy. Glad he had a good life. RIP!
