Bill was a man of grace, intelligence, patience, and kindness. I had the privilege of many one-on-one conversations with him in the church kitchen while preparing funeral meals for families. These are precious memories for me. Our children, Jeremy and Jennifer, still remember his children's sermons which were simple, sometimes funny, and meaningful to all, young and old.
