William Arts Obituary
November 5, 2023
Kansas City, Missouri - William C. "Butch" Arts Jr., age 77, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away after a brief illness surrounded by his children on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances. Butch is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly; three children, Anne (Jeff) Dirkx, Mimi Evans and William (Stephanie) Arts III; six grandchildren: Bennett, Austyn, Oliver, Charlie, Parker and Lucy; siblings: Very Reverend Paul-Louis Arts, Mike Arts, Mary Kawa, Pat Arts and Jim Arts.
A visitation for Butch will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Gladstone, MO 64118. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. A committal service will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Carroll City Cemetery, 618 S. Grant Rd., Carroll, IA 51401.

Butch was a "one of a kind" guy, full of energy and filled with the vim and vigor of life. I was lucky enough to be friends with the Arts family and will always have a warm spot in my heart for all of them. Be at peace Butch and may that peace fill the hearts of all of the family.
