Not sure what to say?

This was a good man who loved God and his family. He loved his country to, and I met him when he ran for office here in AL. He was to honest for the big dogs in the nasty business of politics .He is with his creator and waiting for us to join him. RIP my friend. SEE YOU LATER.

I miss sitting around in my office with Bill talking about nursery automation ideas. It was fun. Bill had a keen mind and is sorely missed. Michell Ellis

Bill's service today was like him. His family shared memories, life lessons and everyone was welcomed. Christ was shared by the family, the pastors, songs and Bill himself through stories and video. Bill would always speak to you when he saw you. He always was in a good mood or whistling. Today was a celebration and the family will continue to be in our prayers.

While watching his service, I was reminded of my three favorite memories as his student. One: he took some of his students from Baton Rouge to Alabama where we went sailing. So much fun. Second: I was whining about math and how I would never understand, and he told me to take one problem from each chapter and work it until I got it right. I told him it wouldn't work. Well, I made 100 on the final test, and he never let me forget it. Third: He presented me (and my sister Melanie) with...

Our heartfelt prayers are going out for family, friends and co-workers as we journey through Billy's passing -on. As we cry out "Why? Why? Why?" there's a better question to cry out "How? How? How?" How are we to respond? We respond in the way Billy would respond: in the spirit of Christ who lives in us. Let's all treasure those good and wonderful memories of Billy while realizing that life here goes on for us, and there are more memories to make and photos to take. May the God of all comfort...

Our heartfelt prayers are going out for all the family and friends. May everyone treasure those good memories of Billy as you realize that life goes on for those Billy loved. Yes, we cry out to God "Why? Why? Why?" but a better question to ask is "How? How? How? How am I to go on?" I think we know that answer: We respond in the Spirit that lives within us - the Spirit of Christ.

My very favorite teacher ever. You were loved by so many, and will be missed. Cindy and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.

Bill left this world a better place than he found it, and his love for Christ was evident in how he handled everything he did. I have known Bill for years, and thought of him as a good man before having a chance to work with him, and now after a year I saw his work ethic, his love of his fellow man, his love of his family and his love for Christ, I realize what an amazing guy he really is. I am going to miss seeing him at work every morning and his booming baritone voice saying "Good morning...

I worked for Bill last year in Grand Bay, however I met him many years ago when he was a customer at Flowerwood in Mobile. Always courteous, respectful and quick to smile. He was like part of our family, my father John met him through Flowerwood and my brother Walter met him in Mobile many years ago. My brother and daughter were employees of his in Grand Bay. He will be sadly missed by our family. Regards, Judy
