My heart is very heavy. My wish is that my family can pull together and not mourn our fallen members but rejoice in the spirit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. William is with Him and is doing well.

To the Avant Family: My deepest and heart felt condolences to you and yours. I learned of the passing of William from my sister Laverne. I'm sure you don't remember us, but we lived down stairs from you when you lived on Earl St., in Newark back in the early to mid 60's. Our last name was Henry, Rolly, Laverne, Barbara, Darryl and Bernice. I remember you, your mother and sisters/brothers well.
