Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Bill, for the logical, steadfast advice and support you so genuinely gave me when you assured me I was more than capable of winning for SSU the Arts & Humanity Award at the very first CSU research competition. Karen, something made me look up your name today. I was so very surprised and saddened to read about your Bill. I remember so well all the good times that we shared in Miami. Oh Karen I am so sorry! He was a kind and wonderful colleague

It's impossible to imagine a more ideal Dean for a School of Arts and Humanities than Bill Babula. As a creative person himself, he understood the creative nature of the Departments under his supervision and exercised his authority as fairly as possible under the budgetary constraints allotted to us. For ten of his thirty years, I was Chair of the Music Department. It was my good fortune, therefore, to have known him well.

My sincere condolences to his family.

I'm moved. Bill Babula was my dean for as long as I taught at SSU. He was a nice and fair person. I miss him.
