Sorry we were not able to be with you today at Bill's memorial service. I will always remember how he continually tried to raise the technical knowledge and ability of the radiation protection and environmental personnel he managed (sometimes despite opposition from upper management).
I also remember his inherent fairness towards his people and his understanding nature.
