My condolences and prayers to Bill's family. I lost contact with Bill years ago after my departure from ND. Bill and I traveled back and forth from Wilmington to South Bend as well as on campus. Bill was my mentor.

My deepest condolences on Bill's passing. I knew him best for his tireless work on behalf of the Red Clay Valley Scenic Byway. Bill represented Mt. Cuba Center and I worked with the Delaware Nature Society as consultant and Steering Committee Co-Chair. Bill's involement was crucial to the success of the Byway planning process and I will always remember is wise, steady, calm guidance. His dedication went above and beyond as he continued with the effort long after his work with Mt. Cuba eneded....
