William Gerald Bailey, Jr., age 49, a resident of Robersonville, NC, died Sunday March 12, 2023.


A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday March 16, 2023 at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church in Williamston and will be officiated by Pastor Lemar Jackson. Burial will follow in Jamesville Community Cemetery. Damien McCoury, William Little, Jerome Tyson, Mitchell Bullock, Marty Bullock and Roger Coltrain will serve as pallbearers.


William was born on May 16, 1973 in Edgecombe County, NC to William Gerald Bailey, Sr. and Betty Jean Webb. On August 26, 2000 he married Linda Denise Bullock. For the last twelve years he was worked as a maintenance worker with the City of Washington. He attended Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church in Williamston. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his dogs, traveling, and especially riding around.


Survivors include his wife Linda B. Bailey of the home, a brother, Keith Bailey of Newport News, VA, a sister, Jenny Webb of Bear Grass, his mother, Betty Bailey, three nieces, Jennifer Broadway, Crystal Biagas, Michelle Jaffry, and a nephew, Chad Bailey.


He is preceded in death by his father, William Gerald Bailey, Sr.


The family will receive friends from 7:00PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the William G. Bailey, Jr. Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889

Linda I'm sorry to hear about William. I know he was a kind caring guy just like you yall were great together and I always enjoyed seeing yall time to time over the years. The last time was in Walmart just b4 Christmas. I would see him once and a while at the City he always had a smile on his face no matter what! May he rest in Peace. God bless you and family.
