Auntie Beverly, I was so sad to hear from Mum about Uncle Billy's death. He was like a second father to me and my siblings as we grew up. I will always remember him with fondness and cherish all the many vacations and weekends we all spent together like one big family. It doesn't seem possible that he is gone, he was such a fixture in our life and now in our memories. His passing is so sad.

I was so sad to hear of "Uncle Bill's" passing from mom this morning. He was a wonderful man, husband and father. To me he was the perfect "Leave It To Beaver" father. He was so kind and generous. I never once heard him raise his voice to anybody, although I'm sure when all of us were vacationing on Lake Champlain it was more like work than rest.
