Not sure what to say?

Dear Judy and family,

I was so sorry to hear about bill's passing. He was always such a great guy.

I know that this is going to be a really hard time for you. I just lost my
husband of 451/2 years Dec 12, 2009.

They're going to tell you it gets easier
with time, but I've found the to be
wrong. You can't be with someone that
long and get over it easily.

There are going to be days that you feel
you can't go on, but you...

Bill was a dear family friend on Decatur and I still can't believe he has passed. He forever changed my life when he married my husband and I in July 2009. He had always been the one that would marry me...ever since I was 3 years old! I couldn't have imagined anyone else to marry us, it was so special. Judy, you are in my thoughts and I hope to see you on the island this summer.

Bill garnered the respect and affection of family, friends and colleagues in all of the many communities he touched in a wonderfully varied and productive life. Bill and Judy have long been pillars of Decatur Northwest, and he will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

My condolences to Judy and her family. Bill led a very full life. Thank you Ben for forwarding this. What a lovely way for people far away to send their thoughts. Abby Pelton Popper

Judy and family...what a gallant individual...till the end. Bill's death diminshes many lives...trust me...he was so wonderful and always a smile. My heart goes out to you. Sincerely, Mary Secoy

I will always remember Bill and be greatful for his guidance when i began my legal career as a paralegal. Not only was he a wizard when it came to the law, he was also a wizard at playing hearts and spades! I will cherish the hours spent around the Anderson-Hunter lunch table playing cards, laughing and joking and just talking about life. My condolences and warmest wishes to Judy and the rest of Bill's family. He will be sorely missed. Much love to you Bill Baker.

last night on the Island...

Dear Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy and Family, I will be thinking of you. I will always treasure last Summer on the Island with him on his last birthday. I will have a smile on my face every time I play UNO... he was a good player! but what was more amazing to me was his ability to play bacci ball with a full glass of wine in his hand and not losing a single drop. I was lucky to have him in my life...
