Not sure what to say?

It´s still very difficult to believe that you are no longer with your family and friends who still walk this earth. You will always be in my most fond memories. I loved you very much, even though we weren´t able to make our marriage last I used to call you "My Prince Charming" because you were. We only had seven short years together; 4 1/2 as husband and wife. We had some wonderful times together and I will never forget you. You introduced me to many great people, Bruce Springsteen, the Baker...

I was so saddened to hear about Baker's death. It seems so unreal. I'll miss his stories, the yummy pizzas he would bring when he came to the office and even the grouchiness that he hid his amazing spirit behind. What a guy!... This was truly unfortunate to hear.

super fab man and loved him dearly for almost 20 years. would have loved to have known him outside of his cool restaurant. he made the best Italian food and had such a warm heart. so sorry for your loss.

Baker was my friend for 42 years. Oh the Halloween parties were infamous. I was able to sublet his house on southside when Chris, Ron, & Mike lived together. My 2 roommates and I adopted Sam the Wonder dog when Baker first went to Kentucky to drive for Art. Even though Baker traveled around the country & the world, his old & new friends were always important to him. He came to all my weddings, my children's baptisms, my daughters engagement parties & her wedding. He was a part of my family....

Fly high and RIP, Bubba!!! Whenever I came back to Birmingham from wherever in the world we were living at the time, I always loved catching up with you and enjoying immensely some of that delicious Baker’s Pizza! I know by now that you’ve met up with Daddy and y’all are talking all about the Bible and golf and no doubt, you’re up there doing that Baker bop!

I heard so many stories about Baker without ever meeting him thru my husband, Bob Kruse, who went to high school with Baker and they remained very good friends. I texted Baker to let him know Bob died Sunday, Aug. 2nd, as his heart gave out. I'm sure he never knew it, because I got news that he died Weds. of his heart, and I thought how "coincidental! " Then I imagined them already seeing each other!! Until we all meet again, some major reunion stuff goin on, I'm sure!!!

Baker, what can I say about a man that didn't show it on the outside but was caring, loving individual.I can say he never turned anyone away if they needed help, only one policy don't lie to me,if you did that he would always help!My friendship with Baker started at a local tavern when he needed someone to deliver pizzas while he took his soon to be wife on a date.It was suppose to be temporary but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.I love you and the world has lost a...

I’ll never forget when Baker asked me to give him some of my Dad’s (Louis McCormick) ashes to spread in his memory on the golf course. He was a great guy - Rest In Peace and comforting prayers to his family and friends.

So sorry to learn the sad news from Betty Jones Nesmith. Thinking of you.
