Not sure what to say?

Barb, Dan, Tom, Billy (and everyone I dont' know) ... I am so sorry and still shocked at Bill leaving us ... so many memories ... Christmas/Thanksgiving evenings at Charlie & Bea's, camping/fishing at Cedar River Flow, long weekends , New Years Weekends at Beaver Brook and Lake La Bar, the cabin in Maine, the trips we made to PA ... Bill had such a singular wit about him, and he was so good at using it ... I'm so glad Barb that two of you made it out to Sequim a few years ago.

Dan,Kim, and Family
So sorry for your loss.

Praying for you and your family at this difficult time. Will be thinking of you , remembering all our loved ones that went before us this Easter season. Thank God for our faith to help us through difficult times. Love, Ed,&Joanne Kurtz & family.

I'm very sorry to hear of Bill's passing and the struggles that he must have had. I always liked this photo of him from the old Mack "Test Shed" - before my time. I always remember that Bill was somebody who always put others at ease. He was always able to bring calm to a tense situation. I don't remember ever hearing him raise his voice. I always felt welcomed and respected when he was around. His family and friends were lucky to have him in their lives.

While I was at Mack, I worked with Bill on a few projects. He was always kind, thorough, and smiling. My condolences to his family and friends.

To Barb and family
Our sincere and heart felt condolences for the passing of Bill; Colleague, Friend and Nice person. God bless him and us all.

Bill and I crossed paths for a short period during his long career at Mack. I didn't arrive until 1971. We had some tough assignments together, but with his help we got thru them all.
We talked about our Cabins in New England; his in Maine and mine in New Hampshire. His drive was much longer than my 7 hours, which I thought was tough. I could never understand how he did it other than the gratification and beauty of the place when he arrived.
He also worked with my Dad (Bill...

We knew Bill for several years at our camp in Maine. We will miss seeing him and sharing a cocktail.

As a young Mack engineer, Bill was a mentor to me and gave me opportunities that were important to my future. I loved working for him and will always remember his unique laugh and sense of humor. Les Meacock, Ed Merkle and him were the three Musketeers of the Mack new model team. Walt
