Not sure what to say?

Bill's unconditional love for Carla was evident in the 27 years they shared together. When Carla was in the hospital years ago, I still have a clear vision of Bill standing outside her door. He was often still in uniform, looking very distraught, and would tell me how much he cared for Carla and feared losing her. Thank you, Bill, for the love and support you have provided Carla.

Whenever I came to visit from across the Bay, Bill and Aunt Carla would welcome me into their home with such kindness. Bill always managed to put a smile on my face with his sense of humor, and I'll miss his company during family get-togethers. Rest in peace, Bill.

As Bill's partner in life, he was everything to me. With each passing day, I love him even more.

I wish to thank the SFPD for their help during the hardest time of our life together. Bill was so good to me, words can not describe. He always told people about me with pride and they would tell me in return how evident it was that he loved me more than anything. Believe me, his actions proved that to me. He was the best thing that ever happened to me and someday we will be together...

Rest in peace Bill, I will miss your wry wit. Gail Dekreon

My condolences to Olga and her family at this sad time. Your love for your brother was evident in all the years I have known you. May Bill rest in peace and may all of you who loved him be blessed in all ways.

So many laughs and great memories. Motorcycle rides, panning for gold, writing our comics, the made-up vocabulary, your superb writing skills, and on and on.
I will miss you friend (I know... the dust).
Thanks for staying in touch all these years.
Blorp.

So many great memories Bill, memories that I'll never forget and too many to talk about; but we know. Knowing you and working with you was an honor and I will never forget you.
I toast you Bill Banas because that's the way you would have wanted it.
Your Pal Doug "ORG"

It was a privilege to be with you during your last days, Uncle Bill. You were so good to my brother and me and you always made us laugh. We miss you already, and we love you very much. May you rest now in peace.

My fondest memory of you was the day you put your 15 year old nephew (ME) on your Harley and taught me how to ride it.. And after a dozen laps around 23rd ave, cousin Jeffrey hopped on the back of the bike.. You said, go see the city, we were gone for 2 hours.. Love you, Eddie
