Mister Billster, I don't want to believe you are gone.
Only memories remain... of your kindness, generosity and of your genius.
Memories of late nights in the office or long weekend at the beach house, memories of enjoying together jack russells, martinis and classic cars... anywhere and everywhere.
Peace...

It was a very sad today, I learned of Bill's passing..I wish I could have attended any of the tributes to Bill's life. More than ever I had wished that I had more contact with him over the last 10 years. Bill was the greatest sketch artist architect/ designer in the world. Bill completed thousands of sketches for my firm from when I started my business in 1987 to 10 years ago. Each of those sketches were always bold striking examples of great design and illustration. Bill was a rare designer...

Bill was the King. I begged him to teach me how to draw. He told me to come hangout at his studio and draw with him. I arrived on a Monday and he said, "OK, we got 26 sketches to do by Thursday... you take 6, I'll do the rest..." I couldn't draw perspective, especially big one like 5'x3' so he laid out sketches with sharpies and I added detail. First drawing I did myself, he said, "Great! Let's send it" then he pulled out a knife and cut it up into 8" strips... I was mortified. But then he ...

Bill was a "one of a kind" person, and my life is better for meeting him, working with him, and knowing him. Genius is a too often used description these days, but it applies to Bill. The world has lost one of the preeminent architectural sketch artists. Bill's ability to convey complex concepts in a few quick strokes was amazing. Bill himself was complex - creative, funny and kind. I will miss him.

Bill was a mentor and colleague of mine. He worked for my father Henry Conversano for many years during The 70's and 80's. The office designed some of the premier Casinos in the industry. Bill was one of the senior designers and one of the most gifted and important visionaries in the office. To me, a High School student who dreamed of being a great artist, Bill was a genius. I idolized him. I can't express how much I was influenced and awed by Bills talent, vision, energy and spirit. He...

Bill was a great friend through High school. When your friends are so important in getting you started in the right direction in life. I had great fun and learned about hard work. From swim team workouts to helping with chores at his house to doing Cheer squad stunts. We were goofy and loved life. The hardest English class at Clayton Valley we took was from his mom. She made some great food for us after school! I am sorry that we were unable to keep in touch in our adult life. Happy...

Bill was so very nice and I only wish I had got to know more about him when I had the chance. We graduated from High School the same year.
