William was born on June 2, 1925 and passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. William was a resident of Delbarton, West Virginia at the time of passing. However, after less than three months as a miner, in August 1943 he enlisted in the Navy and proudly served in the South Pacific for the duration of WWII before returning to his home. He was Past Master of Kermit Masonic Lodge #167 where he was a member for 61 years. Contributions to the Lenore K-8 "Weekend Backpack Program", #1 Ranger Drive, Williamson, WV 25661 are suggested in lieu of flowers.

Teddy, Eddie, Billy Jo, and Kathy, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I remember stopping by and having some strong coffee with him when I worked that area. A wonderful man and I'm so glad to call him my friend and Masonic brother.

My deepest sympathy to the family, the pain of losing someone in death is the most devastating pain that one can feel. May the words in Psalms 94:19 be a source of great comfort to your family.
