We've never met, but I knew Hall as a young child. The Benkovics lived behind our house in Steelton and my father, I. O. Silver was their family doctor. I can see remember Hall playing in the backyard, watched by his loving mother, Goldie, or his grandfather Benkovic or Uncle Dink or Aunt Fran. He was surrounded by so much love and attention. Hall was a very intelligent man with a quick wit and a good heart.
We were classmates at Steel High many, many years ago.
I pray that his family and all who knew and loved him will be blessed by God's gifts of strength, comfort and consolation.
