Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of Bill's passing.

Here's a photo from a quail hunting trip in the fall of 2007. Bill's Rice University classmates, Chuck Kelly (left) and Steve Weakley (right) are standing at the burial site of Shanghai Pierce, noted Texas cattleman. We hunted near Blessing, Texas where Pierce's gave is located. Enjoyable trip and great memories.

I met Bill years ago when I volunteered at Daedalus BookShop and Bill would come in to visit Sandy. He loved reading History and hunting, sometimes on John Lohr's property and sometimes at his sister's in Texas. After Bill retired I would see him on the Mall and we'd walk and talk. Bill was a decent and honorable human being.

Very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good friend at Christchurch School and a very vocal voice on the Seahorse Football team. He was a leader and always a positive, caring individual. He was one of the smartest friends and always took time to explain things to us less than average kids. Since graduating from Christchurch School, I had always planned to reconnect with Bill....but, regretfully, I never did....I so hope to get to hug him in the next life.
